Beginnings

I was until recently concerned about not letting other people hear my ideas, etc. However, a meeting at the Society of Authors introduced me to an uncomfortable truth about this. We were told: "The horse is out of the stable." This means that it is impossible to police the Internet for copyright contraventions.

But then I thought to myself: "In the Middle Ages, a craftsman would not expect to be original. But - using an idea already in existence - he (or she) produced something of the highest quality he could manage. And this was his gift to God. These men built cathedrals - with humility."

Anyone who takes my scraps of ideas is welcome. But I would ask you to treat them with respect and with humility. We can all produce original creations from these scraps. And possession is a myth.
